Welcome to the Hive! I proudly serve as one of the assistant principals here at Western Guilford High School and have been in this role for five years. Prior to serving in school leadership, over the last 15 years, I served Guilford County Schools in the roles of Curriculum Facilitator, District K-12 Science Coordinator, Human Resource STEM recruiter, and Science teacher.
I am an alumnus of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where I obtained my undergraduate degree and a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction. In addition, I have a master’s degree in School Leadership from High Point University.
A few of my other favorite roles include aunt, sister, wife, and mother of my “party of 4”. I am an avid reader, and I love to travel! I am a firm believer that leadership is an action word, and I look forward to continuing to serve the Western Community.
